WAC 296-20-01060. Delegation of credentialing and recredentialing activities

(1) The department may delegate credentialing and recredentialing review activities to the following entities: (a) Medical and dental group(s) and clinics; (b) Physician organizations; (c) Credentials verification organizations (CVOs); or (d) Other organizations that employ and/or contract with providers. (2) Any delegation by the department of credentialing or recredentialing review activities will be documented through a written delegation agreement. (3) The department retains the authority to review, approve, suspend, deny, or terminate any provider who has been credentialed by a delegated entity.
