WAC 296-307-52033. Use of trucks to open or close freight car doors

Trucks may only be used for opening or closing freight car doors with an approved device that meets the following requirements: (1) The door opening or closing device requires that the force applied by the device to the door is parallel to the door travel. (2) The truck operator is trained in the use of the door opening or closing device and keeps the operation in full view while opening and closing. (3) The area is clear of people while the door is moved with a device.
