WAC 296-78-640. Jointers (stave and heading)

(1) Stave and heading jointers and matchers must have the heads guarded completely by the exhaust hood or other device, except that portion where the stock is applied. (2) Foot power stave jointing machines must have the knife effectively guarded to prevent the operator's fingers from coming in contact with it.
