WAC 296-806-45506. Protect operators from guidepost hazards

You must use properly installed, adjusted, and maintained guards or devices to protect operators from the hazards created by: (1) Guideposts separating from their bushings. (2) Similar pinch points between the slide (moving die) and fixed die or press attachments. EXEMPTION: This requirement does not apply if the opening is one-fourth inch or less, before use.
