WAC 110-01-0040. Public records officer

The department's director will appoint a public records officer (PRO) whose responsibility is to serve as a "point of contact" for members of the public seeking public records. The department will provide the public records officer's name and contact information by publishing it in the state register. The department will also provide the public records officer's contact information on its website, www.dcyf.wa.gov . A request may be fulfilled by the PRO, or department staff designated by the PRO.
