WAC 296-96-24124. Car platforms

The minimum rated load shall be not less than the following: (1) For net platform areas up to and including 12 ft 2 , the rated load shall be not less than 40 lbs./ft 2 or 350 lbs. whichever is greater. (2) For net platform areas greater than 12 ft 2 , the rated load shall be based upon 62.5 lbs./ft 2 .
