WAC 132P-116-010. Purpose

Pursuant to the authority granted by RCW 28B.50.140 , the board of trustees of Yakima Valley Community College, District 16 is granted authority to make rules and regulations for pedestrian and vehicular traffic over property owned, operated or maintained by the college district. The rules and regulations contained herein are established for the following purposes: (1) To protect and control pedestrian and vehicular traffic. (2) To assure access at all times for emergency equipment. (3) To minimize traffic disturbances during class hours. (4) To facilitate the operation of the college. (5) To regulate the use of parking spaces.
