WAC 365-196-810. Review for consistency when adopting development regulations

(1) When adopting any development regulation intended to carry out a comprehensive plan, the proposing county or city should review its terms to ensure it is consistent with and implements the comprehensive plan and make a finding in the adopting ordinance to that effect. (2) If a county or city develops an implementation strategy, it should ensure the strategies are consistent with the comprehensive plans of adjacent counties or cities.
