WAC 388-101D-0445. Restrictive physical interventions

Prior to implementing restrictive physical interventions with a client, the provider must: (1) Provide documentation to the division of developmental disabilities regarding the proposed intervention; (2) Involve the client and the client's legal representative in discussion regarding the need for physical intervention; (3) Determine the kind of notification the client's legal representative wants to receive when physical interventions are used; and (4) Comply with the requirements defined under WAC 388-101-3890 .
