WAC 388-826-0650. What is the representative payee's role?

The representative payee: (1) Manages the client's social security or supplemental security income; (2) Uses the client's income to contribute toward the cost of the client's participation; (3) Places the client's personal needs allowance and any conserved funds in a payee account; and (4) Monitors the child's payee account to maintain eligibility for supplemental security income and medicaid.
