WAC 388-847-0150. How must SAIF dispose of medications?

(1) The stabilization, assessment, and intervention facility (SAIF) must dispose of all client medications that are discontinued, expired, or replaced by another. (2) When disposing client medications, SAIF must list the: (a) Medication; (b) Amount; and (c) Date that it was disposed. (3) Two people, one of whom may be the client, must verify the disposal by signature.
