WAC 388-97-3940. Walls in new construction

The nursing home must ensure: (1) Wall finishes are easily cleanable; (2) A water-resistant finish extends above the splash line in all rooms or areas subject to splash or spray, such as bathing facilities with tubs only, toilet rooms, janitors' closets, and can-wash areas; and (3) Bathing facilities with showers have a water-resistant finish extending to the ceiling.
