WAC 392-121-206. Definition — Contractor certificated instructional employee

As used in this chapter, "contractor certificated instructional employee" means a contractor certificated employee who: (1) Is employed by a contractor, pursuant to WAC 392-121-188 or 392-121-1885 , to serve students claimed for basic education funding by a school district or charter school; and (2) Is employed as one or both of the following: (a) An elementary, secondary or other teacher who instructs pupils in classes or courses; or (b) An educational staff associate who assists, evaluates, counsels, or instructs students in a manner consistent with the employee's educational staff associate certificate.
