WAC 132Z-116-230. Parking—Operator's responsibility

No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first: (1) Stopping the engine, locking the ignition, and removing the key. (2) Effectively setting the brake and transmission to prevent movement of the vehicle.
