WAC 51-50-3314. Section 3314 — Fire watch during construction

3314.1 Fire watch during construction. Where required by the fire code official, a fire watch shall be provided during nonworking hours for new construction that exceeds 40 feet (12,192 mm) in height above the lowest adjacent grade. EXCEPTIONS: 1. New construction that is built under the IRC. 2. New construction less than 5 stories and 50,000 square feet (4645 m 2 ) per story.
