WAC 72-120-215. Grievance procedures

(1) Any parent or student who is aggrieved by the administration of discretionary and nondiscretionary discipline other than suspensions, expulsions, and emergency removals, including discipline that excludes a student from transportation or extracurricular activity, may request an informal conference with the principal for resolving the grievance. (2) At the informal conference, the student and parent will have the opportunity to voice issues and concerns related to the grievance. The principal will have the opportunity to address issues and questions raised and to ask questions of the parent or student.
