WAC 110-149-0400. Licensing requirement exemptions

When caregivers do not meet the licensing requirements: (1) The department may approve an exemption to license and continue to license a caregiver if the department finds that they can provide for the safety, health, and well-being of children or youth in their care; and (2) Caregivers do not have appeal rights if the department denies their request for an exemption to the licensing requirements.
