WAC 172-191-100. Directory information

Last amended: 2026Year: 2026Length: 127 wordsOfficial source
Directory information is defined to include: Student's name, university email address, telephone number; participation in officially recognized activities and sports; weight, height and the month and day of birth for athletic team members; dates of attendance at the university, enrollment status, and class standing; major field of study, degrees and awards received; and the most recent previous educational agency or institution attended by the student. The university may release "directory information" unless the student submits a formal request restricting the disclosure of the information to the registrar's office. A student's election to opt out of directory information disclosures does not prevent the university from disclosing or requiring a student to disclose their name, identifier, or university email address in a class in which the student is enrolled.
