Enforcement. Enforcement. Under s. 23.22 (9) , Stats., if the department finds that any person is violating this chapter or a permit issued under this chapter, the department may do one or more of the following: (1) Issue a citation pursuant to ss. 23.50 to 23.99 , Stats. (2) Refer the matter to the department of justice for enforcement. (3) Revoke any permit issued under this chapter, after notice and opportunity for hearing.
