Revocation and suspension of operating privileges. (1) This section is intended to address operating privilege suspension and revocation matters not addressed elsewhere in statute or administrative rules. (2) The department shall suspend for 2 months the operating privilege of any person convicted of violating s. 343.16 (7) (b) , Stats. (3) Revocations under s. 343.32 (1) , Stats., and suspensions under s. 343.32 (1s) , Stats., shall be effective for 6 months. (4) Except for revocations imposed under ch. 351 , Stats., a revocation or suspension imposed by the department as the result of a conviction in another jurisdiction shall be imposed and be effective on the date of conviction in that other jurisdiction.
