Plate.
Plate. A temporary operation plate issued under s. 341.09 , Stats., shall be approximately 6” x 12” or, in the case of an on-line delivered temporary operation plate, shall be approximately 8.5” x 11” and shall contain:
(1) The word “Wisconsin”.
(2) A number of up to 8 characters determined by the department.
(3) The word “temporary”.
(4) The expiration date.
(5) A portion of the vehicle identification number as determined by the department.
