Charter operations. Charter operations. A school bus may be used temporarily as a motor bus for transportation purposes if the following requirements are met: (1) The registration requirements as provided in s. 341.26 (7) , Stats. (2) The lettering as prescribed by s. 347.44 (1) (c) , Stats., is covered or removed. This may be accomplished by substituting the word “charter” for “school.” This subsection does not apply when transporting children for any purpose under s. 346.48 (2) (c) , Stats.
