The strength rating of each leveling bar, or part of such unit, shall be not less than: (1) Longitudinal tension—gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 3 (2) Longitudinal compression—gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 3 (3) Transverse thrust—gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1 (4) Vertical tension—gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1.3 (5) Vertical compression—gross load of trailer-type vehicle in pounds x 1.3
