(2) Encourage a resident’s autonomy, respect a resident’s need for privacy and consider a resident’s preferences and choices while providing care, supervision, and training. (3) Provide care that is respectful toward the beliefs, interpersonal styles, attitudes and behaviors of residents and families of various cultures.
