Wolf Management Zones. Wolf Management Zones. Wolf population management zones are designated on the following maps: (1) Statewide wolf management zones. Zone 1 includes the frozen surface of Lake Superior within this state. Zone 6 includes the frozen surface of Green Bay under the jurisdiction of Brown and Door counties, and Oconto County south of an east to west line originating at the mouth of the Oconto River, Oconto County. (2) Wolf management subzones. (a) Subzone 1A. (b) Subzone 1B. 1. ‘Ashland and Iron Counties.’ 2. ‘Bayfield County.’ 3. ‘Vilas, Iron and Oneida Counties.’ 4. ‘Sawyer and Washburn Counties.’ (c) Subzone 2B. (d) Subzone 4A.
