RE:
OPTins Payment Requirement for 2025 Annual Premium Tax Filings and Payments
The Wyoming Department of Insurance is streamlining its processes in order to promote easier, faster, and more
efficient premium tax return filings. Beginning with the 2025 Annual Statement filings due March 1, 2026, the
National Association of lnsurance Commissioners (NAIC) Online Premium Tax for Insurance (OPTins) filing
system will be the only permissible form prescribed by the commissioner pursuant to Wyoming Statute 26-4-
103(a). Paper filings will no longer be accepted.
Please note that a single filing may be made for the first through third estimated quarterly filings to reduce any
fees
charged
by
OPTins.
