Ch. 1, § 2. Purpose

These rules have been adopted to implement W.S. 25-11-101 through 25-11- 108 to: (a) Establish uniform procedures for collection of charges from residents in Department of Health Institutions: Veterans' Home of Wyoming, Wyoming Pioneer Home, Wyoming Retirement Center, Wyoming State Hospital, and Wyoming State Training School; (b) Establish charges based upon an ability to pay; (c) Determine persons legally responsible for payment of established charges; (d) Establish limitations on liability for established charges; (e) Establish penalties for giving false or misleading information in determining an ability to pay.
