Ch. 5, § 9. Construction/Remodeling

This section applies to modernization, renovation, change of space use, and new construction of ambulatory surgical centers. (a) The ambulatory surgical center shall meet all requirements established in: (i) Guidelines for Construction and Equipment of Hospital and Medical Facilities, Chapter 9. Outpatient Facilities, specifically described in Outpatient Surgical Facilities (Section 9. 5). (b) All plans and specifications for construction and/or remodeling shall be approved by the Office of Health Quality prior to construction.
