(866) 660-0888 September 11, 2017 BULLETIN NO. 15-2017 TO: ALL LICENSED INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE PRODUCERS AND ADJUSTERS, PRODUCER TRADE ASSOCIATIONS, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE COMMISSIONERS AND OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES FROM: ARKANSAS INSURANCE DEPARTMENT SUBJECT: INDIVIDUAL LICENSURE OF PRODUCERS AND ADJUSTERS The Arkansas Insurance Department (“Department”) has experienced difficulties recently in verifying information provided by individuals seeking licensure due to the use of a name other than the applicant’s legal name. Effective immediately, all individual applicants for licensure must use their legal name on any documentation submitted to the Department. Your legal name is the name on any current state, federal or military identification. If your legal name changes at any time during the period of your licensure, please provide at least thirty (30) days written notice of the change to the Department.
