27 CAR § 3-203. Annual application

(a) The person or religious denomination seeking to qualify as a self-insurer shall annually apply for issuance of a certificate of self-insurance from the Office of Motor Vehicle. (b) The application described in subsection (a) of this section shall: (1) Be filed on a form prescribed by the Office of Motor Vehicle; and (2) Shall provide proof of the applicant's ability to pay judgments against them.
