Box 816 Hartford, CT 06142-0816 An Equal Opportunity Employer Bulletin L-8 November 25, 1998 Re: CHANGE OF RESIDENT LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Individuals currently licensed in Connecticut who are moving to another state, are no longer required to re-apply for a CT insurance license. The licensee’s authority in Connecticut will not be canceled (unless requested by the licensee). In accordance with 38a-771, the Department must be notified of the new address within 30 days. A licensee continues to be responsible for advising all insurance companies they represent of changed of address, and for maintaining their required company appointments. George M.
