204 PREVENTING CONTAMINATION ─ WASTE HANDLING AND DISPOSAL (Critical Section) 204.1 Licensees shall ensure that personal grooming services that require the use of sharps are disposed of in medical-grade sharps containers and disposed of by professional environmental infectious waste disposal companies licensed in the District of Columbia, in accordance with § 404.3. 204.2 All other disposable supplies or disposable materials that are contaminated with blood or other body fluids that are generated during a cosmetic procedure shall be discarded immediately in accordance with § 404.3. 204.3 All solid waste that is not contaminated shall be placed in easily cleanable, sealed containers that are kept closed when not in use and disposed of in accordance with § 404.2.
