1615 BIOLOGY 1615.1 In addition to the general and professional education requirements, for certification in biology, coursework representing thirty (30) semester hours is required: (a) Eighteen (18) semester hours in biological science to include the following: (1) Botany; (2) Zoology; and (3) Environmental Science; (b) Inorganic and organic chemistry; (c) Physics; (d) Mathematics (beyond introductory mathematics); and (e) Computer applications.
