9603 CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK 9603.1 A person applying for certification as a CNA shall undergo a criminal background check (CBC) prior to issuance of the certification. 9603.2 After issuance of an initial certification, the applicant shall undergo an additional CBC as determined by Title 17 DCMR Chapter 85. 9603.3 The Board shall review the applicant’s positive CBC results.
