Health Insurance Carrier Survey

TRINIDAD NAVARRO COMMISSIONER STATE OF DELAWARE DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE # DOMESTIC/FOREIGN INSURERS BULLETIN NO. 52 (REISSUED) TO: ALL INSURANCE COMPANIES THAT MARKET HEALTH INSURANCE IN DELAWARE RE: HEALTH INSURANCE CARRIER SURVEY DATED: August 24, 2012 REISSUED: August 13, 2019 REISSUED: March 27, 2023 REISSUED: May 20, 2024 The previous version of Domestic and Foreign Bulletin No. 52 instructed all insurance companies that market health insurance in Delaware to complete and return the Health Insurance Carrier survey located at https://insurance.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2023/03/BulletinNo52- Survey.pdf. The survey is an essential tool for the Department to accurately address consumer inquiries. The most recent deadline for submitting the survey was September 15, 2023. The Department has determined that some carriers did not comply with this requirement, which is a matter of concern. The Department now urges any carriers who failed to submit the survey to do so immediately. Additionally, carriers are reminded to update and submit the survey every three years to ensure the information on file with the Department remains current. The next survey deadline is September 15, 2026. All surveys should be submitted electronically to DOI-Survey-Response@delaware.gov. Any questions, comments, or requests for clarification about the survey and submission process should be emailed to DOI-Survey-Response@delaware.gov. This Bulletin shall be effective immediately and shall remain in effect unless withdrawn or superseded by subsequent law, regulation or bulletin.
