# DOMESTIC/FOREIGN INSURERS BULLETIN NO. 65
TO: ALL INSURERS PROVIDING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE IN DELAWARE
RE: ELIMINATING ANNUAL REQUIREMENT FOR COMPLETING HEALTH PREMIUM RATE SURVEY FOR CONSUMER COMPARISON
DATED: August 20, 2013
The Department is eliminating the requirement for insurance companies that market comprehensive health insurance (including HMO, PPO, and POS) in Delaware to complete the annual health premium comparison rate survey, which was stipulated by Regulation 1314. This information will no longer be necessary to compile due to the upcoming Health Exchange starting on October 1, 2013. Thank you for providing this useful service in the past to Delaware consumers.
The Health Exchange is a result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act passed under President Obama. The Department is providing details on-line of this new “Choose Health Delaware” process as it is being implemented in Delaware.
“Choose Health Delaware” is your official resource for finding out how the new healthcare reform law can benefit Delaware residents or business owners:
