Availability of 2013 Rate Survey Materials Relating To Regulation 704 (Homeowners’ Insurance Rate Survey)

Karen Weldin Stewart, CIR-ML Commissioner Delaware Department of Insurance ## DOMESTIC/FOREIGN INSURERS BULLETIN NO. 66 TO: ALL INSURERS PROVIDING HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE IN DELAWARE RE: AVAILABILITY OF 2013 RATE SURVEY MATERIALS RELATING TO REGULATION 704 (HOMEOWNERS' INSURANCE RATE SURVEY) DATED: August 22, 2013 Insurance companies with more than .01 percent market share in homeowner multiple peril line in Delaware are required to complete an annual homeowners' insurance rate survey, as stipulated by Regulation 704. Instructions, provisions for rating, and hypothetical consumer profiles to be used in the 2013 survey are now available by going to www.delawareinsurance.gov/survey/default.shtml. This webpage also contains a list of companies required to complete the survey based on NAIC market share data. The deadline this year for completing this annual homeowners' insurance rate survey is September 30, 2013. Any questions, comments, or requests for clarification about the survey and submissions process should be emailed to rate@state.de.us.
