9050.3 – Notification to Practitioner or Other Person of OIG Sanction (Rev. 24, Issued: 02-12-16, Effective: 03-14-16, Implementation: 03-14-16) OIG notifies the practitioner or other person of the adverse determination and of the sanction to be imposed. The sanction is effective 20 days from the date of the notice. The 20 days begins when the practitioner or person received the notice, with a presumed date of receipt that is five (5) days after the date on the notice unless there is a reasonable showing to the contrary.
