100.3 Geographic Adjustment Factor (Rev. 240, Issued: 01-19-18, Effective: 01-01-17, Implementation: 02- 20- 18) The payment rate for AKI dialysis is adjusted by the geographic adjustment factor that is applied to the ESRD PPS base rate for a particular facility, which is the same wage index applied under the ESRD PPS.
