10008.3 - Elements of a Directed Plan of Correction (Rev. 221; Issued: 05-10-24; Effective: 05-10-24; Implemetation:05-10-24) A DPOC should address all of the elements required for an HHA- or hospice program- developed plan of correction. These elements include, but are not limited to, the following: I. How an HHA or hospice program will correct each deficiency; II. How the HHA or hospice program will act to protect patients in similar situations; III. How the HHA or hospice program will ensure that each deficiency does not recur; IV. How the HHA or hospice program will monitor performance to sustain solutions; and V. The timeframe in which corrective actions will be taken.
