SEC. 594. EXPANSION OF MILITARY LEADERSHIP DIVERSITY COMMISSION TO INCLUDE RESERVE COMPONENT REPRESENTATIVES. Section 596(b)(1) of the Duncan Hunter National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2009 (Public Law 110–417; 122 Stat. 4476) is amended by striking subparagraphs (C), (D), (E) and inserting the following new subparagraphs:“(C) An active commissioned officer from each of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, an active commissioned officer from the National Guard, and an active commissioned officer from the Reserves, each of whom serves or has served in a leadership position with either a military department command or combatant command.“(D) A retired general or flag officer from each of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, a retired general or flag officer from the National Guard, and a retired general or flag officer from the Reserves.“(E) A retired noncommissioned officer from each of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, a retired noncommissioned officer from the National Guard, and a retired noncommissioned officer from the Reserves.”.
