TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS RELATING TO SAFEGUARDING MILITARY WHISTLEBLOWERS.

SEC. 202. TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS RELATING TO SAFEGUARDING MILITARY WHISTLEBLOWERS. Section 1034 of title 10, United States Code, is amended— (1) in subsection (c)(1), by inserting “when the Coast Guard is not operating as a service in the Navy” immediately after “in the case of a member of the Coast Guard”; (2) in subsection (c)(5), by inserting “(or to the Secretary of Transportation in the case of a member of the Coast Guard 103 STAT. 1911 when the Coast Guard is not operating as a service in the Navy)” immediately after “to the Secretary of Defense”; (3) in subsection (c)(6), by inserting “(or to the Secretary of Transportation in the case of a member of the Coast Guard when the Coast Guard is not operating as a service in the Navy)” immediately after “to the Secretary of Defense”; and (4) in the first sentence of subsection (e), by inserting “(except for a member or former member of the Coast Guard when the Coast Guard is not operating as a service in the Navy)” immediately after “former member of the armed forces”.
