public works (including rescission) For an additional amount for “Public works”, $5,436,000: Provided, That of the funds appropriated under this heading for fiscal year 1989 in the District of Columbia Appropriations Act, 1989, approved October 1, 1988 (Public Law 100–462; 102 Stat. 2269–4), $10,655,000, including $300,000 from the school transit subsidy are rescinded for a net decrease of $5,219,000.
