SEC. 405. SUNSET DATES.(a) Authorization.—Sections 744G and 744H of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act shall cease to be effective October 1, 2022.(b) Reporting Requirements.—Section 744I of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act shall cease to be effective January 31, 2023.(c) Previous Sunset Provision.—(1) In general.—Effective October 1, 2017, section 404 of the Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act (Public Law 112–144) is repealed.(2) Conforming amendment.—The Food and Drug Administration Safety and Innovation Act (Public Law 112–144) is amended in the table of contents in section 2 by striking the item relating to section 404.
