SEC. 214. ARMORED GUN SYSTEM The Secretary of the Army shall prescribe an acquisition plan for the procurement of an armored gun system. The plan shall provide— (1) for acquisition of an armored gun system which is a nondevelopmental item; and (2) for fielding of such system to the first unit during fiscal year 1995 if there is an approved program start for such system by the Office of the Secretary of Defense during fiscal year 1991.
