AUTHORIZATION OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS.

SEC. 5413. AUTHORIZATION OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS. In addition to the amount authorized to be appropriated by section 5411, there are authorized to be appropriated to the Commission for the fiscal year 1988 such amounts as may be necessary for— (1) increases in salary, pay, retirement, and other employee benefits provided by law; (2) covering payments to Panama under paragraph 4(a) of Article XIII of the Panama Canal Treaty of 1977, as provided by section 1341(a) of the Panama Canal Act of 1979 (22 U.S.C. 3751(a)); and (3) increased costs for fuel.
