PURCHASING AND LEASING OF RESIDENCES.
SEC. 131. PURCHASING AND LEASING OF RESIDENCES. It is the sense of the Congress that in its fiscal year 1989 budget presentations to the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives, the Department of State shall provide sufficient information on the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing rather than leasing residential properties to enable the Congress to determine the specific amount of savings that would or would not be achieved by purchasing such properties. The Department also shall make recommendations to the Congress on the purchasing and leasing of such properties.
