SEC. 216. PILOT PREFERRED SURETY BOND GUARANTEE PROGRAM. (a) Sunset.— Section 207 of the Small Business Administration Reauthorization and Amendment Act of 1988, Public Law 100–590, is amended to read as follows: 104 STAT. 2823 “The provisions contained in section 411(a)(3) of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 (15 U.S.C. 694b(a)(3)) shall cease to be effective after September 30, 1994.”. (b) Evaluation and Report.— Section 206 of the Small Business Administration Reauthorization and Amendment Act of 1988 is amended— (1) in the first sentence, by striking “Not later than” and inserting “(a) not later than”; and (2) by striking the last sentence and inserting: “(b) The report required by subsection (a) shall be transmitted not later than March 1, 1994 and cover the period October 1, 1990 through September 30, 1993.”.
