SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR.
SEC. 221. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION DEPUTY ADMINISTRATOR. (a) In General.— Section 4 of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 633) is amended by striking “The Administrator is authorized to appoint a Deputy Administrator and” in the fourth sentence of subsection (b)(1) and inserting the following: “The President also may appoint a Deputy Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Administrator is authorized to appoint”. (b) Effective Date.— The amendments made by subsection (a) shall apply to any vacancy in the position of Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration after the date of the enactment of this Act.
