DISTINGUISHED VISITING PROFESSORS.

SEC. 402. DISTINGUISHED VISITING PROFESSORS. The Director is authorized to make awards to institutions of higher education to enable such institutions to support distinguished women and minority faculty members in mathematics, science and engineering to enable such faculty members to serve as “Distinguished Visiting Professors” at academic institutions that do not have sufficient resources to attract and retain faculty members of such professional stature on a permanent basis.
